100% tested. Independently certified. For professional 10-Gbit/s networks.
The DIGITUS Premium Keystone was developed for professional copper cabling systems where reliable data transmission, high operational reliability and long-term planning security matter. Each circuit board is tested individually. In addition, the independent GHMT PVP certification confirms that the individual connecting element meets the requirements for CAT 6A component performance.
With a transmission bandwidth of up to 500 MHz, support for 10Gbit/s and IEEE 802.3bt Type 4, as well as its robust, fully shielded design, the module is suitable for high-performance network, data center and building infrastructures.

What is certified?
Independent assessment of the individual connecting component supports technical verification in projects where documented component performance is required or preferred.
Independently certified CAT 6A component
The GHMT PVP certification applies directly to the individual DIGITUS Premium Keystone. Its CAT 6A component performance is therefore independently tested and assessed. Unlike Permanent Link certification, the verification does not apply only to a defined combination of installation cable and connecting components.
This is particularly relevant for demanding projects, in data centers and for tenders when independent verification for the individual connecting component is required or preferred.
CAT 6A for high-performance 10-Gigabit networks
The DIGITUS Premium Keystone offers CAT 6A component performance up to 500 MHz and is designed for 10Gbit/s. 10Gbit/s enables data rates of up to 10 gigabits per second over copper cables. Typical applications include corporate networks, data centers, professional office cabling, and building and industrial infrastructures.
4PPoE Type 4 for high-power applications
The DIGITUS Premium Keystone is designed for IEEE 802.3bt Type 4 with up to 90 W at the power-sourcing port. This standard is also known as 4PPoE because all four pairs of wires in the Ethernet cable are used for power transmission. This makes it possible to supply high-performance end devices with data and power simultaneously via a single cable.
The Keystone itself does not provide power. As a passive connecting component, it transmits data and power within the PoE path. For safe operation, all components involved must be designed for the required power: the PSE (Power Sourcing Equipment, for example a PoE switch or injector), the installation cable, the connectors and the connected end device.
The Keystone does not generate power itself. It is a passive connecting component within the PoE path. The switch or injector, installation cable, connectors and end device must all be suitable for the required power.

Combine end devices
The wattages are for interactive illustration only. Actual power requirements depend on the specific end device. The DN-93625 does not generate power; it is a passive connecting component. Switch or injector, installation cable, connectors and end device must all be suitable for the required power. Several end devices selected here illustrate a combined load and should not be understood as actually powering several devices via a single keystone port.

Installation without special tools
The DIGITUS Premium Keystone is designed for fast and structured termination on the construction site. The wire manager, a guide for correctly inserting the wires, as well as the integrated cable holder and strain relief, simplify installation. The wire manager can be opened again and reused if required. This allows subsequent corrections or rewiring.
- Wiring according to T568A and T568B
- Suitable for solid and stranded conductors
- Conductor gauges from AWG 26/1 to 22/1 and AWG 26/7 to 22/7
- Compatible with suitable patch panels, connection outlets and Keystone outlets
Connected in four steps

01Prepare the cable
Strip the installation cable with standard tools and prepare the shield.

02Insert the wires
Insert the wires into the wire manager according to T568A or T568B – for solid and stranded conductors.

03Make the contact
Close the wire manager – no special termination tool required. It can be reopened if needed.

04Secure & install
Secure the cable with the integrated holder and strain relief, then insert the module into the patch panel or outlet.
Robust, shielded design
The robust zinc die-cast housing with 360° shielding supports continuous shield contact around the module. This can reduce electromagnetic interference affecting data transmission. According to the product matrix, the Keystone is designed for at least 1,000 mating cycles and an operating temperature range of -40 to +70 °C.
European development and manufacturing
Developed for professional network infrastructures in Europe: The DIGITUS Premium Keystone benefits from short delivery routes, high quality standards and close cooperation throughout the manufacturing chain. The circuit board and zinc die-cast housing are manufactured in Germany, while final assembly takes place in the EU. This creates a reliable connecting component for professional network projects.
Long-term system perspective
For sustainable and future-proof network projects: The DIGITUS Premium Keystone is part of the comprehensive DIGITUS cabling system. A system warranty of up to 25 years may apply to qualified DIGITUS system installations.

Frequently asked questions
With the DN-93625, each individual circuit board is tested rather than just a sample from production. This supports low production variation and consistently high product quality. The statement refers to the circuit board, not to a complete Permanent Link or channel measurement of every finished module.
Type 4 is the highest power level within IEEE 802.3bt. All four pairs of wires are used for power transmission. The PoE switch or injector can supply up to 90 W, of which up to 71.3 W is available at the end device at the maximum cable length. This enables high-performance access points, cameras and smart building components to be powered.
A mating cycle comprises inserting and removing an RJ45 plug. The DN-93625 is designed for at least 1,000 mating cycles. Compared with models rated for at least 750 mating cycles, this represents 250 additional specified mating operations. The figure describes the mechanical load capacity of the interface, not the overall service life of the module.
The DN-93625 is particularly suitable for professional CAT 6A cabling, data centers, 10-Gigabit networks and 4PPoE infrastructures. The combination of 100% testing of every circuit board, GHMT PVP component certification, Type 4 support and at least 1,000 mating cycles positions it as a premium module for demanding projects.
